I'm trying out the latest "Twitter Killer" (Twitter doesn't need a killer because it does a pretty good job of committing suicide, IMHO) called Plurk. I've read people calling the user interface "Ajaxy". I call it sort of Sponge Bob Square Pants meets the social network. There are some interesting features once you start to get your head around their timeline metaphor. I like that posts are threaded as people respond to specific plurks, but I'd like to be able to tell Plurk don't bother to update me on a specific thread. Plurk also makes it too hard to find my friends. I should be able to search for users by nickname since I don't know the email address for many of my socnet "friends". Also, I appear to have invoked an "anti-flood" rule by making just a few posts. I don't like rules. This relationship may not last.
"Taxman" is the name of a great Beatles song and it goes with my career as a CPA. I'm also a musician (if a guitar player can claim to be a musician). I love computers, especially Macs and Tablet PCs and all things gadgets.
