Lately the weather's
Been predictably hot
Always the same thing
Like it or not
But now there's this new thing
And it's making me blue
It's too cold for flip flops
But I don't want to wear shoes
I've got dogs that need walking
Every day
I put on my flip flops
And we're on our way
But all that is changing
I don't know what to do
It's too cold for flip flops

I've got nothing in common
With winter, you see
There's football on TV
There's a chill in the air
But if it's too cold for flip flops
