Taking a Brake

That's right. A brake. Today, I'm taking a day off from taxes and accounting and enjoying the lake with my bride. We enjoyed a long walk among the pines with cool crisp weather. The ground was still damp from the half inch of rain that fell last night, a much needed respite from the prolonged drought that has plagued this area. It feels like 100 degree days are behind us. I sure hope more rain is in our future. Enjoy your weekend. Like my other CPA friends, I'll be gearing up for that final push that is the 10/17 deadline.
