Let it Rain?

When we talk about God's mercy and kindness the image of his mercy raining down on us is often used. I imagine people dancing in the rain and soaking it up and experiencing joy. Yet, this morning, I'm in a suit to go meet with a client. It is raining and gusting wind. My umbrella blows inside out. I get really wet. Traffic is crawling and I smell like a wet sheep is I sit in my car mired in traffic and grumbling because I'm late for my meeting. Both images involve rain. The same rain. The only difference is the attitude and the reaction of the person experiencing the rain. I'm thinking there's a deep thought there. Hopefully, you can take it further than I can. Have a great day!
