Managing Multiple Devices

James Kendrick "hit the ball out of the park" IMHO this morning with his post about managing multiple devices. I have been waiting on him to share his insights on this topic for some time. Nobody defines "what gadget will I wear today" more appropriately than Mr. Kendrick. Hosted Exchange and Foldershare are two key ingredients for JK's mobile syncing strategy.

I wrote a few days ago here about the "perfect" email setup for the iPhone. I implemented this strategy and I think it gets me a long way toward the same benefits as hosted exchange without the added cost. I love having one inbox that's IMAP but still using my Godaddy.com business address and totally backing up my emails on my gmail account. If you haven't tried this yet, go for it!!! (not responsible for you hating it, however).

Foldershare is my new best friend thanks to James. I knew about it and had tried it for awhile but wasn't using it to actually sync my devices. I'm now a big fan.

For Mac users, the dotmac sync is another good friend. I have all my addresses, bookmarks in Safari, and even my Apple mail settings synchronized. I can even access this info from my Samsung Q1 using the dotmac webpage. I would love to hear from you guys if you have other suggestions for staying synchronized. Please comment below.
